Seeing downtown Chicago is fun, but there’s nothing that can’t be made more fun by bringing your dog along! Here are some dog friendly places and activities to do with your pet near the Loop!
312 Chicago
312 Chicago is located in the heart of the theatre district in the Loop and serves northern Italian fare, brunch, bakery items, and craft cocktails. The charming patio is dog friendly and even offers homemade dog treats on Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 2pm. Insider tip– bring your Christkindl Market mug to 312 Chicago for a complimentary refill of mulled wine with purchase through January 15th, 2020!
O’Brien’s Riverwalk Cafe
Enjoy waterside dining with your dog at O’Brien’s Riverwalk Cafe. O’Brien’s regularly hosts live music and is a festive place to celebrate favorite Chicago holidays (like dyeing the river green on St. Patrick’s Day) as well as lesser known Chicago holidays (like Cheeseburger day). If you’re looking to switch up the traditional patio scene, you might enjoy bringing your dog for a day on the Riverwalk!
Mercury’s Canine Cruise
What’s even better than the classic architectural boat tour? One that your dog can enjoy, too! Sightsee in Chicago’s Loop along Lake Michigan and the river with your furry friend as you get a detailed tour of Chicago’s architectural marvels. The 90 minute tour departs from 112 E Wacker Drive. There are dog water bowls and relief stations on board to keep the ride comfortable for your pet!
Small Dog Tea Party at the Drake Hotel
February 9th, 2020 stop by the Camellia Room at the Drake Hotel from 1 to 3pm for the Small Dog Tea Party, hosted by the Dog Moms of Chicago. The tea party will have a Valentine’s Day theme and all proceeds will go to local dog rescue organizations.
