Ben is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and has experience counseling sophisticated clients as a real estate attorney at the Chicago law firm of Mayer Brown LLP. Ben is a principal of Downtown Apartment Company and our managing broker.
As Chief Executive Officer, Kati Baker has been a driving force behind the success of Downtown Apartment Company for several years. She began her career with the company in 2010 as a leasing agent and then broker, and was promoted to Director of Recruitment in 2011 where she built the Downtown Apartment Company team. Kati’s leadership skills and strategic vision led to her promotion to CEO in 2023. Kati brings a hands-on, client-focused approach to her role and a commitment to providing exceptional service to Downtown Apartment Company’s clients.
In her free time, Kati enjoys exploring Chicago, spending time with her husband and four kids, and partaking in a game of platform tennis whenever she can.
Ericka has always had a passion for real estate, and exemplifies the client-centered customer service that is the hallmark of Downtown Apartment Company. Ericka is a principal of Downtown Apartment Company and our Director of Leasing.
Nichole brings years of experience in marketing and business development as an Associate Buyer in the corporate offices of Sears Holdings Corporation. She is responsible for expanding business development and improving the way we serve our clients.
